What Do Men Really Want from Women?

You can bear with me that sex is very important when it comes to marriage. In every marriage, if sex is not involved between the married couples, then it’s likely the marriage will collapse. This alone gives us the realization of how sex is really important when it comes to marriage. Men are very aggressive when it comes to sex. Therefore it is being said that sex is the only passion for men and nothing matters. Well, your assumptions can be true only if he has not married you yet or if he does not really intend to marry you. So what he would need from you is mostly sex. But if he intends to marry you or you guys are married already then sex will be the very last portion in his mind.

Is It Right For Christians To Drink Alcohol?

Jesus Christ our Master and Savior was so particular about what people thought about Him.
He therefore asked "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" (Math.16:13).
Should we as Christians also not be mindful of people's impression about us?
The society views social alcoholic consumption as something that is indecent.
Should Christians therefore not desist from such a thing?

The Use of Electronic Cigarettes In Our High School

Use of electronic cigarettes by high school students tripled over three years, according to a new U.S. government report.

In a large national survey last year, 4.5 percent of high school students said they had used e-cigarettes in the previous month. That's up from 1.5 percent in 2011 and 2.8 percent in 2012.

It's not known, though, how many were repeatedly using e-cigarettes and how many only tried it once during that month and didn't do it again.

Female Circumcision /Rite of passage in rural Kenya

Over a quarter of Kenyan women have undergone the ordeal, seen as a rite of passage for girls despite government efforts to end it in the East African country.

"It's a tradition that has been happening forever," the father of one of the girls, who asked not to be named fearing reprisal from the authorities, told Reuters from the isolated Pokot settlement some 80km (50 miles) from the town of Marigat.

Domestic Violence in NIGERIA. My Secret.

by Adesuwa
(Benin-City)

I am from Edo State and my partner is from Jos in Nigeria. I am 21 years old and he is 27. We have been together for four years. I am currently four months pregnant.

Three months into our relationship was the first time he showed his anger. That was the honeymoon period over. By then, we were completely in love and it caught me by surprise. It was my 18th birthday and we argued in the car on the way home. He raised his voice and told me to shut up many times. At the time it seemed very bad and hurtful, but now it’s me who says that sort of thing, and he takes it to a whole new level every time. Back then I thought it would just be a once off, not realizing the worst was yet to come.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY QUEEN

I hope your birthday wishes come true. I know mine did the day I met you.
Thank you for always being right by my side, sweetheart.
For your birthday, I just want to say: I hope you can see how special you are to me.
Happy birthday, my love!

Why Is It So Hard To Quit Smoking?

Mark Twain said, “Quitting smoking is easy. I’ve done it a thousand times.” Maybe you’ve tried to quit, too. Why is quitting and staying quit hard for so many people? The answer is mainly nicotine.
Nicotine

Nicotine is a drug found naturally in tobacco, which is as addictive as heroin or cocaine. Over time, a person becomes physically dependent on and emotionally addicted to nicotine. This physical dependence causes unpleasant withdrawal symptoms when you try to quit. The emotional and mental dependence (addiction) make it hard to stay away from nicotine after you quit. Studies have shown that to quit and stay quit, smokers must deal with both the physical and mental dependence.

What are the most common single-parent challenges?

Child rearing can be difficult under any circumstances. Without a partner, the stakes are even higher. As a single parent, you might have sole responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day child care. This can result in added pressure, stress and fatigue. If you're too tired or distracted to be emotionally supportive or consistently discipline your child, behavioral problems might arise.

How To Recover From a Broken Relationship

The world is full of people with broken hearts, broken spirits, and broken relationships. The pain of a broken relationship includes a very real sense of personal loss, not unlike bereavement. Sometimes the hurt is so great it prevents people from functioning properly and, in extreme cases, can result in mental breakdown or even a desire to commit suicide. The world puts forward various ways to assuage the pain: taking antidepressants, writing an angry letter and tearing it up, going on a shopping spree, getting a makeover, etc. Some advocate the power of positive thinking. The most common “cure” is time. While the intensity of a heartbreak may wane over time, only a child of God can experience complete recovery because only the Christian has access to the power of the Spirit of God, the One who “heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

Why Is Finding TRUE LOVE So Difficult?

We all have a desire to love and be loved. We experience different levels of love from parents, siblings, friends, and others. But most of us also want to find that special someone we can share a deeper level of love with. Finding true love can seem incredibly difficult, and it’s often hard to understand why. A big question to consider first is, “what is my definition of true love?” Understanding what we mean by “true love” can help us see what we’re really seeking and why or why not it’s working.

What should I look for in a Christian girlfriend?

The sort of dating relationships that are seen today aren’t mentioned in the Bible. Marriage and betrothal are the only types of romantic relationships seen in Scripture. What this means is that a Christian girlfriend should be, first and foremost, a potential marriage partner. A Christian man should be seeking a woman to spend his life with, not just someone to have fun with. If a man is not ready to get married, he should not be pursuing a Christian girlfriend.

What should I be looking for in a husband?

What does the Bible say about finding a husband?
When a Christian woman is looking for a husband, she should seek a man “after God’s own heart” (Acts 13:22). The most important relationship that any of us have is our personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. That relationship comes before all others. If our vertical relationship with the Lord is as it should be, then our horizontal relationships will reflect that reality. Therefore, a potential husband should be a man who has his focus upon walking in obedience to God's Word and who seeks to live so that his life brings glory to God (1 Corinthians 10:31).

What should I be looking for in a wife?

What does the Bible say about finding a wife?
The most important personal relationship that a man can have, outside of his spiritual relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ, is his relationship with his wife. In the process of looking for a wife, the highest principle is to look for a woman with a personal faith in Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul tells us not to be “unequally yoked” with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). Unless a man and woman are in full agreement on this most crucial issue, a godly and fulfilling marriage cannot take place.

Does the Bible advocate arranged marriages?

An “arranged” marriage is one that is brought about by consent of the parents of the bride and groom, often without regard to the wishes of the couple to be married. The Bible does not say that parents should arrange marriages, nor does it say they should not. However, there are a few arranged marriages in the Bible, most notably Isaac and Rebekah’s marriag

How will I know when I have found the perfect spouse for me?

The Bible does not address how to find the “perfect spouse,” nor does it get as specific as we might like on the matter of finding the right marriage partner. The one thing God's Word does explicitly tell us is to make sure that we do not marry an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14-15). First Corinthians 7:39 reminds us that, while we are free to marry, we should only marry those who are acceptable to God—in other words, Christians. Beyond this, the Bible is silent about how to know we are marrying the “right” person.

Why You Don't Have the Relationship You Want

10 Important Things Everyone Forgets To Do To Help Marriage

1. Let go of old wounds through forgiveness.

Every moment of your life you are either growing or dying – and when you are physically healthy, it’s a choice, not fate.  The art of maintaining happiness in your life and relationships relies on the fine balancing act of holding on and letting go.  Yes, sometimes people you trust (including yourself) will hurt you.  Being hurt is something you can’t avoid, but being continuously miserable is always a choice.  Forgiveness is the remedy.  You have to let go of what’s behind you before you can grasp the goodness in front of you.

Church Members Losing Focus Over Indecent Dressing

Indecent dressing to church is no longer news especially in our country Nigeria where moral is been taken in high esteem.

Today in various churches, ladies dress the way they like in all manner of designs there by exposing either their cleavages or their thigh all in the name of dressing and the next thing you here is “it is not the body that matters but the mind.”

Christians Burned Alive in Pakistan

November 4, a Muslim mob in Pakistan burned to death a young Christian couple, including a pregnant mother of four children. Their alleged crime? Blasphemy.

At the ACLJ we're still learning the details, but here's the on-the-ground report from our European Centre for Law and Justice affiliate in Pakistan:

Shahzad, his wife, Shama, and parents had been working and living at the brick kiln of Yousaf Gujjar for the last thirteen years. On November 3, 2014, while cleaning the house, Shama found some papers that belonged to her father-in-law who had died a week prior to this incident. She gathered all those papers; some of the papers were printed in Arabic. Shama was illiterate and did not know whether those papers were from the Qur'an. She burnt all of them together (a common way of disposing of papers).

How to Romance Your Wife

If the thought of romancing your wife sounds a little intimidating, you are not alone. Some men are romantics at heart. While it takes a little more effort for others.

Well, let me put your mind at ease. Romance is not at all complicated. It just looks that way on television.

Romance is not about spending your life savings, it's not about trying new sexual positions, neither is it about whispering corney lines in her ear.

Romancing your wife is all about doing little things for her on a regular basis that show her how you feel.

Boundaries To Protect Your Marriage

Being married is hard work! When you got married you probably said something that resembled the traditional marriage vows:  “I will love you, and comfort you, and keep you in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, keep unto you as long as we both shall live. And I take you for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health; to love and cherish you until death do us part.” But, did you really realize what you were getting into?
